FRUITVILLE STATION meets HACKERS meets V IS FOR VENDETTA
San Francisco - based on the story of Kenneth Harding, one of the first shootings of an African American with mental illness, reaching for his cellphone.
(Scripted from the actual crime caught on the victim’s cellphone.) Outside of a high school near San Francisco, the transit police shoot a 19-year-old African American with mental illness over a 2$ unpaid subway ticket. He reaches in his pocket, the police say for a gun, and bystanders claim for a cellphone. A bystander picks up the dropped phone, puts it in his pocket, and walks away. The cops claim that the victim had a gun and shot himself because the bullet does not match the police bullet. After the enormous police investigation of the murder and intense media coverage over the murder, as justification for the controversial police brutality, the ‘Anonymous’ hacktivist group sets out to learn the truth. A Police Chief realizes the seriousness of what he is facing when he enters the office, and the fax machine spews black printed paper continually, and his son receives the warning...
Kenneth Harding was left on the sidewalk bleeding out while BART Cops waited for an ambulance.
